We re-opened at 8:00am this morning, so come by and get a hot meal and a hot cup of coffee!

Thanks to the Cafe's fortunate location by the circle in downtown Pittsboro, we got power back last night and decided to open up as usual this morning. Since many people are still unable to read their emails we have also gone to some of the local radio stations to let them know that we are open so that people can come by and get a hot meal or a cup of coffee.

We will also be offering music this evening and we plan to be open for dinner - so let your friends in Chatham know that there is at least one restaurant open.

Assuming there is no further percipitation we will follow our regular open hours.

Friday, December 6 - Julie Loyd - Singer/ Songwriter

"Loyd left Charlottesville, Virginia at 17 for the bright lights of New York City more than three years ago and, since then, she has settled in the rocky landscape of western North Carolina with many others like her, a self-proclaimed "folk-dork." Citing Jonatha Brooke and Dar Williams as her main influences, Loyd agrees that her style and voice also closely resemble the more popular works of Ani DiFranco. In performance, Loyd displays a knack for emphasizing the meaning underlying each song with subtle inflection in rhythm and charming undulations with her body -- another utilized instrument. As a soloist, Loyd commands even the tiniest venue. Saturday, December 7- Irish Jam Session

As usual we are planning to hold our Irish Jam Session this Saturday - so come by, have some ale and enjoy the penny-whistles.

BREAKFAST & LUNCH : The café is open Mon-Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (lunch 11:30 am - 2:30 pm) and on Saturday 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.

DINNER & MUSIC : We reopen Thursday - Saturday nights serving dinner from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, with live music from 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Sunday we rest. (special opening hours: 6:00pm on Friday the 29th!)
