Have You Ever . . .

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round,
or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight,
or gazed at the sun fading into the night?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly,
When you ask "How are you?" do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow,
and in your haste not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die, '
cause you never had time to call and say "hi"?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast,
time is short, the music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere,
you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life is not a race, so take it slower,
hear the music before the song is over.

Dinner all week long (and some great music to go with it)!

Store is open from 7:30am - 8:00pm most days with dinner starting at 6:00pm!

Due to popular demand the café extended its hours of operation from the first week of January. This past Monday and Tuesday we offered a 2-for-1 dinner rebate - the response was great - and we had a great turnout! We hope to continue this trend - and plan to use this support from the community to start offering a bigger and more varied menu throughout the week.

The store is now open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30am to 8:00pm, Thursday and Friday from 7:30am to 10:30pm, and on Saturday from 9:00am to 10:30pm, though on Sundays we are still closed so that we can rest (at least for now - but let us know if you would want to see Sunday hours as well).

During open hours we serve breakfast until 11:00am, hot lunch until 3:00pm, deli items until 6:00pm and dinner from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Thursday through Saturday we have live music from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.

Maia Derewicz - singer/songwriter from North Carolina. Maia feels blessed to have the gift of music, which she considers to be the ladder to the soul. She currently resides in Chatham County with her husband, Mark.
